How does the real job compare?

Pretty close, with a few more steps and a lot more digging. On a real Clark job the crew digs by hand down to the footing first. Cracks are packed with hydraulic cement before any tar goes on, a waterproof membrane covers the tar, and new drain tile goes in at the footing before the pea stone. Then the trench is backfilled and the yard is put back. Most jobs take 3–7 days, not one minute.
